Anthony Robbins' Six Human Needs

Tony Robbins' audio program, Personal Power II (and lots of other works he has done), discusses about the 6 human needs. These needs are considered the primal needs that as humans are portion of our nature.

1) Certainty/Comfort
As human beings, we all want certainty, which mean we avoid pain as a lot we can and want much more pleasure in our lives. We make certain that we all issues are in location and in order. We want all our daily needs for survival always available. We also want feel comfortable on our surroundings, conditions and ourselves. Some seek certainty to gain power over others by controlling them, and some use it to benefit others. Whether we like it or not, we want to feel comfortable and and sometimes, if not most of the time, laidback, relaxed and just plain lazy.

2) Uncertainty/Variety
This is the opposite of the first need. When we feel that we lack something. We want to try other things because we are bored. There are also repercussions you get uncertain, addiction enters when feel we want something different or an option for being discontent and uncertain. We need to take control of this will need.

3) Significance
Humans want to really feel essential and really feel special. We desire to separate ourselves with other people. We feel that becoming distinctive can make a statement to folks you want to be with. This may visit the next human require..

4) Connection/Love
We want belonging, connection and association. We feel the affection when we're with an individual or belong to a group. That's why some folks wan to join gangs or fraternity for they really feel the acceptance that they can't get from anybody.

5) Growth
As you go along with life, you want to evolve as you grow up. You gain experience and want more and want another expertise. You will really feel unhappy and incomplete in the event you did have growth. And this growth, will make the individual have a sense of..

6) Contribution
With growth comes as need for contribution. We need to be portion of a thing. An event, an important portion of a project, and we wish to be responsible to men and women too.

These the basic human needs that each man and lady needs. They're not wishes, they're needs. You might have the power to fulfill your needs in a positive or in a damaging way.

Anthony Robbins' Ultimate Success Formula

Anthony Robbins' Ultimate Success Formula enable you to Achieve Anything You Want in Life
Have you wonder why some people achieve success in their life? Want factors contribute to their success and why 95% of other people fail to achieve success in their life?
There are many factors contribute to the success of this group of high achiever. Excellent communication skill, good habits, how to turn failure and setback into Million Dollar Opportunities and many more.
But regardless of their background, one of the most important attribute they share is that they apply ultimate success formula in their life. Fortunately for you and me, Ultimate Success Formula is not exclusive to successful people. We too can modeling and learn this formula from successful people.
We can achieve success in our life as well by using the same formula. The following are the steps of Anthony Robbins' ultimate success formula:
1) Set goal - they understand what they time frame to achieve the goal. The most things are that the goal must be very specific in detail. The example of specific goal is to earn 1 million dollar in 1 year time.
This is contrast to general goal such as I want to earn a lot of money. The specific goal helps the high achiever to bring the best out of themselves and enable them to achieve their target.
2) After goal setting by the high achiever, the high achiever will brainstorm and develop the best strategic to achieve the goal. After mapping of the strategic, they will start action base on their strategic. The most important is to start action because only actions can help them to move forward.
Without action, nothing will change and nothing will happen. By this state, you may ask this questions, by taken actions are they guarantee achieve success? More often than not, they will suffer failure. Success people rarely achieve success in first attempt.
But what differential successful people from the ordinary people are that they will apply the last step of the Anthony Robbins' ultimate successful formula.
3) Change strategic - after initial setback, successful people will evaluate the fail strategic and develop new strategic for the goal. They never accept the initial setback as failure and to them this is just a feedback to them what things do not work. They keep changing strategies and action until they achieve their goal.
Of course ultimate successful formula is just one of the attribute that contribute to the success of the highly successful people.
There are other attributes that empower highly successful people to achieve in their life which include effective communicate skills, take charge of emotion state, and eliminate limiting beliefs and many more.

Enter Your Peak State, Unleash Your Power Within (An Empowering Message From Anthony Robbins)

What is that you really want in your life right now?
I suppose we all have a goal - that something that we absolutely want right now. Whether it be a great relationship, more money, a great job or just to be healthy again.
Wanting it is one thing. Getting it is quite another.
Most of us have been taught that to get what we really Want, we have to think positive, set goals, work hard, be patient, and make sacrifices - Right?
WRONG!
Surprised?
Tony Robbins, after spending a lifetime coaching some of the most successful people on the planet, has a completely different view on what it takes to get what you really want
Think back to one of those rare moments when you felt
On top of the world: Fearless and certain, with limitless energy, incredible ability, amazing clarity of thought able to conquer anything Vibrant with an aliveness impossible to describe. Inspired bursting with creativity, brilliant ideas, and plans for exciting things to do  In total control, optimistic, tasting a level of freedom that few ever find  a golden moment in which your life was rich with purpose, meaning, awe, and inner peace.
Then in a flash, it’s gone. You’re back to living half a life, and doing things the hard way.
Now what?
How long do you wait for the moment to return? A week, a month, a year, a lifetime?
Let me show you how you can enter this state, instantly - at your command - unleashing an incredible power that transforms your life and fulfils your every dream
Let me share a story to illustrate my point:
I was on a flight, sitting in first class, when shortly after take-off I heard,  Aren’t you the power guy?I turned, and from across the aisle, I again heard, Anthony Robbins. The power guy. Right? I smiled and nodded.
The well-dressed elderly man introduced himself, told me the name of his company, and to impress me, mentioned the major league sports team he owns. I’ll call him Mr. Big. He then introduced the man next to him, his lawyer, who I’ll call Phil.
You promise unlimited power. Isn’t that your shtick? asked Mr. Big.
He obviously thrives on confrontation. If he only knew what was about to happen.
I’m intrigued, he continued without waiting for my reply,  I’ve watched your infomercial, and I think it’s a lot of crap.
I listened politely.
The way I see it, everyone falls into one of two groups: the powerful and the powerless. Ninety-nine percent are powerless  and regardless of what you promise them, they’ll stay powerless until the day they die.
You’re missing the point, I said.  Everyone has an untapped power centre, and I show people how to unleash it and use it to fulfil their dreams.
Bull****! You want to see real power? Watch this.
Mr. Big picked up his drink and, without hesitation, poured it slowly into Phil’s lap. Phil jumped up, blurted an obscenity, and looked at Mr. Big in horror. Frantically, he brushed the ice onto the floor, wiped his wet pants, forced a frozen smile, and said,  That’s funny.
Mr. Big then turned to me and said,  That, Mr. Robbins, is power.
Powerlessness condemns people to a lifelong prison sentence
I’ve seen thousands of people like Phil - intelligent, talented, well-educated, full of big dreams - who are prepared to work hard and make sacrifices. They do everything right but in the end, they fall short of their expectations.
Why?
Because they’re missing the key ingredient:
To make things happen, you first have to turn on your power and enter your peak state.
If you don’t, it’s like putting a roast into a cold oven and forgetting to turn on the heat. Nothing’s going to happen.
Without the power, people’s lives become a string of good intentions - instead of the achievements, victories, fulfilment, and results they desire. They spend their lives working too hard, for too long, reaping few lifetime rewards, giving up often, and settling for less than they want and deserve.
Phil could have it all. He just needed to know he had the power and how to activate it. Until he finds the power, he’ll spend the rest of his working life being a doormat to bullies like Mr. Big.
I couldn’t sit there and do nothing.
When Mr. Big went to the restroom, I asked Phil why he put up with such abuse.  He’s harmless. He’s just having fun, Phil said. Then adding,  But I have been thinking that I should drop him as a client.
SHOULD!
It drives me crazy when I hear people say  should.
Shoulds never materialise. It’s a clear sign that Phil sees himself as powerless. At that moment, I decided to share what I know with Phil.
I reached into my briefcase, removed my personal notes from the three-and-a-half-day seminar I had just given,  Unleash the Power Within , took out half a dozen relevant pages and handed them to him and said,  You MUST read this, now!
One of the first things I tell people at my Unleash the Power Within seminar is to replace the word SHOULD with MUST.
Instead of saying, I should find a better job, I should start my own business, I should lose weight, I should quit smoking, I should spend more time with my kids say MUST.
Say, I must find a better job, I must start my own business, I must lose weight, I must quit smoking, I must spend more time with my kids and you’ll notice an immediate change.
Achieving what you want is easy  when you know how to unleash the power within.
Mr. Big returned from the restroom, took his seat, and grabbed a magazine. Phil was studying the pages I handed him. About 20 minutes later, Phil stopped reading, placed the papers on his pullout table, and stared directly ahead into space.
Phil, Mr. Big said. Phil didn’t answer. He just kept staring.  Phil, what time are we going to land?
Looking straight ahead, barely moving a muscle, Phil replied,  3:55.
Jim’s going to meet us at the airport, right?
 Yeah.
You know how we’re going to play this, right?
 Yeah.
 I don’t want any screw-ups.
 No screw-ups.
Phil sat there, staring straight ahead, appearing to be somewhere else, lost in thought. But actually, something quite different was taking place inside Phil. I could see it. I’ve seen it thousands of times in other people as it happened to them.
I’ve seen the same look in people who attend my seminar as they step onto a bed of red-hot coals - glowing at 1,500 degrees - walk across, smiling and relaxed, without burning their feet.
I’ve seen the same look in people who accomplish amazing feats that few can do.
How did they do it? They entered their  Peak State
Phil was there at this moment, and I watched with the same pride that parents have as they watch their child perform in a school play. I just sat and waited to see what he would do with it.
Suddenly, Phil called the flight attendant and asked if there was an empty seat back in coach.
 Plenty, he said.
 Good. I’d like one, please.
Mr. Big looked startled,  What’s going on, Phil?
Phil got up, grabbed his laptop computer, turned to Mr. Big and calmly said,  You’ll have to find another lawyer.
 Sit down, Phil! he said.
Phil just smiled as he grabbed his things from overhead.
If you don’t sit down right now, I’ll
 You’ll do what?
 I’ll I’ll
Still smiling, Phil turned, winked at me, mouthed,  Thanks , and walked to the rear of the plane.
Mr. Big’s face was red. He turned to me and said,  Do you see the kind of idiots I have to deal with? Then after a pause,  I’ll bet you 50 bucks that he’ll be back  he’ll be back before this plane touches down  he’ll be crawling back to me.
Phil stayed in coach, enjoyed the flight, and made plans for a new life.
The key ingredient to transforming your life is tapping into your inner power
What happened to Phil?
Well, two things.
First, he discovered something that few people know. And of those who know, only a handful understand how it works:
He learned that inside each of us is a power centre - the source of that powerful, driving force that, once unleashed, makes any vision, dream, or desire a reality.
The second thing he discovered is the most beneficial of all:
A simple way to unleash that power.
But here’s the interesting part
As you unleash that power, you’re entering your  peak state and are capable of achieving whatever you desire, with surprisingly little effort.
Your physical abilities multiply. Your mental abilities multiply. Your talents multiply. Your skills multiply. Everything you do, you will do that much better. Obstacles, the unknown, and doubt disappear. You perform the most difficult task, effortlessly.
Operate from your  peak state, and you’ll have more confidence, more self-esteem, more passion, and more enthusiasm. You’ll be at the top of your game, as they say.
Enter your  peak state and answers are instant and insightful. You see the higher purpose for your life. Old patterns and limiting beliefs vanish. For the first time in your life, you know what it means to be FREE! I mean Really Free!
In your  peak state you communicate distinctly. You look different. People perceive you as taller. Better looking. You glow.
Hope and chance are replaced with  by design. You know where you’re going, how you’re going to get there, and nothing can stop you.
Everyone doubts it works  until they try it.
Something doesn’t sound right, people argue.  Are you saying that once you unleash the power inside you, you can accomplish anything?
Yes, anything! And without force. Without willpower. Without positive thinking. Without repetition of affirmations. Enter your  peak state and nothing will stand in your way.
I invite you to experience my live weekend event,  Unleash the Power Within , where you’ll discover how to identify what it is you really want, permanently break through any barriers that might be holding you back, dramatically increase your physical energy and mental clarity, and infuse passion into your daily life. Learn how that can happen for here.
Love and respect,

Could You Learn To Unleash The Power Within?

Anthony Robbins' flagship seminar, Unleash The Power Within (UPW), might seem like it's a scam at first glance. I was certainly skeptical when I heard about this program. According to Robbins, every one of us has a power inside that can help us attain our dreams, as long as we know how to use it.
If you think that sounds like a lot of new age mumbo jumbo, you're not alone, but there's truth to that statement, no matter how silly it might seem when you first encounter it. Most of us look outside ourselves for answers, but that gives away our power. What we need to do is learn to look inside ourselves to find the power we could be using to reach our fullest potential.
Unleash The Power Within is Anthony Robbins' flagship seminar for a reason. Take a look at it to see what it could do for you. It can tell you a lot about the powers you aren't using to your fullest.
Did you know that what you believe could be holding you back? Lots of what happens to us, as well as the majority of things we do are based on the things that we believe about ourselves. These stories we tell ourselves are the thing that's holding so many of us back, because they bring insecurity, fear and doubt along with them.
No one should have to be a victim of their own stories. I've learned how to examine by beliefs and expand my sense of self worth to become a person with greater productivity and drive to succeed, as well as a better self image. It might not be the easiest path to follow, but I'd be pretty suspicious of any problem that says it has a magic fix.
Many people have changed their lives based on what they've learned from Anthony Robbins' UPW, allowing them to start their dream businesses, get out of debt, and make their lives better in general. There's more than thirty years of experience based around this seminar, and all of that experience can be a big help to us.
This is a seminar that helps people redesign their lives, instead of just leaving everything up to hope and change. We can forget the patterns we've locked ourselves into for most of our lives. Changing what goes on outside really can't happen until we've managed to change ourselves inside.
If you've been feeling like you're going nowhere, maybe you just need to discover how to use your inner power. Take a look at Unleash The Power Within to find out how to do that. Even if you're still not certain, you should take the time to find out more so you can make your own decisions.

Identify Your Stress Triggers

If you were to type the word "stress" in any internet search engine you will get a billion pieces of information related to stress and the harm it can cause. A general dictionary defines stress as, "A specific response by the body to a stimulus, as fear or pain that disturbs or interferes with the normal physiological equilibrium of an organism, mental, or emotional strain or tension." The word stress is derived from the Latin word 'stringere' meaning to 'draw tight' describing hardships.
Everyday millions of people around the world experience stress ranging from mild dosages to extreme cases that lead to several complicated health disorders. Even animal, insects and plants experience various degrees of stress due to several reasons.Dr. Hans Selye, a reputed author of numerous papers and books on stress says headaches, insomnia, high blood pressure, heart and kidney diseases are the common problems created by stress. According to his expert opinion, "every stress leaves an indelible scar, and the organism pays for its survival after a stressful situation by becoming a little older".
When you are stressed your adrenal glands produce a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol is highly toxic substance that attacks muscles, organs, and rapidly diminishes your strength. It also diminishes your immune system leading to various kinds of mental and physical disorders. Stress is your body's natural response to every day's physical, emotional and environmental demands. Many people often confuse stress with plain tiredness. Whenever you ask someone if they are stressed they immediately say they are okay or feeling fine. But the reality is different. You could be highly stressed, but not physically tired. This is because stress is a silent killer and creeps into a person silently. You cannot avoid stress totally in today's life, especially in today's modern, complex workplace. It is a mental thing that has the potential to create complicated health disorders. To understand the difference between stress and tiredness just imagine a hot cup of coffee. The hot coffee can contain very less sugar or a high quantity of sugar.
The quantity of sugar (sweetness) is comparable to stress, while the temperature (hotness) is comparable to tiredness. The sweetness of the coffee does not reduce even when the coffee cools down. Similarly a person need not be physically tired, but could be under a lot of stress internally. For example, an impending tough exam, a court case, losing a job, workplace harassments, dealing with irrational people, accepting a heavy responsibility, etc., can create a lot of stress. On the other hand plain tiredness, usually caused by excessive physical activity or exercise can be eliminated by a few hours of sound sleep, or a good hot bath. But stress cannot be eliminated by sleep or a bath.
Often people under duress will not be able to identify or sometimes admit the precise reason for their stress, and start feeling the whole world is ganging up on them. Over time stressed people will soon be unable to state exactly whey they are stressed. They feel attacked from all sides, feel unlucky, exhausted and start getting agitated at everything, trivial, big, related or unrelated. And the standard reasons people give for stress will be vague and generic stuff like work pressure, traffic, noise, politics, etc. But pointing fingers at vague and subjective stuff do not help you in finding workable solutions. You need to be exact, but how?Today, the modern crazy workplace is one of the single biggest sources of stress for employees and their families. A stressed out employee can not only cause problems for himself, but also cause various problems for all his family members. On our planet the number of reasons why people get stressed or agitated could run into thousands.
However, in the workplace the number of reasons for stress will normally be limited to a few areas, or sometimes just a single issue that could be igniting your fuse. But learning to recognizing those few ones is important to tackle them objectively without getting ruffled up. Usually a stress management consultant will be usually able to accurately pin point your stress trigger and suggest remedies. But what if you don't have access to such consultants, embarrassed to visit one or even unable to afford their services? Also in many cases it may impossible to openly admit to stress. For example CEOs, senior managers, and famous personalities can never honestly admit to being stress, or openly visit a stress management consultant. This is because reputed personalities in all fields always need to portray a picture of a vibrant, healthy and evergreen human being to the media, press and the public.
If they accidentally admit to stress a newspaper may print an absurd headline like, "CEO OF XYZ CORP ADMITS TO LOSING HIS MARBLES!!!" and the company can get into trouble. So what do you do? Remember it is a health matter and cannot be simply ignored either, because it will only deteriorate or explode you with time. Unless you believe your stress is an extreme case where only a qualified doctor can repair you it may be possible to identify specific stress triggers, or what exactly ignites your fuse, and often solve them yourself. Pin pointing your stress generator is the first step in trying to find a solution to it. If you cannot pinpoint it is like trying to shoot a target you cannot see. But how exactly do you pin point your stress generator without visiting a stress management consultant? Just use a simple technique called - ASKING QUESTIONS TO YOURSELF, similar to what consultants and doctors do when you go for consultation. Through appropriate and pertinent questions to yourself it is actually possible to identify your stress generators, and often eliminate or control them on your own without external help. So whenever you are stressed in the workplace start asking yourself the following questions. You can add more questions if necessary, but this list should be enough to begin with.
  • 1. Are the job requirements absolutely clear in real world terms for what you are trying to do, or expected of you? Or, are you simply chasing hype and jargon?

  • 2. Do you have the necessary tools, knowledge, resources, staffing, training and budgets to do what you are trying to do?

  • 3. Are the timeframes realistic for whatever you are trying to do, or are you chasing artificial deadlines created by clueless people? Are you burning out chasing unrealistic expectations from impatient customers, end users, bosses, etc?

  • 4. Are you working in a humorless department or organization?

  • 5. Are you generally short tempered and impatient by nature? Do you habitually get flared up over trivial workplace issues? Are others expecting you to read their mind and act accordingly? Alternatively, do you expect others to read your mind and act accordingly?

  • 6. Is it a specific colleague(s) who is the cause for your stress, or is somebody constantly breathing down your neck? Is someone out to get you, discredit you or snatch the credit for your efforts?

  • 7. Is somebody's short temper and irrational behavior preventing you from doing or saying the right things?

  • 8. Are you having financial difficulties? Do you have no control over your spending? Are you spending more than you are earning?
  • 9. Is a corporate rumor about getting fired, downsizing, reorganization, etc., causing stress?

  • 10. Do you have to do everything yourself? Are you getting the required help from your colleagues and other departments? Are you always trying to go out of your way to get things done? Are you trying to tackle things that are not in your control?

  • 11. Is the work you are doing really difficult, or are you just dealing with difficult and irrational customers and bosses who create panic and terror to cover up their inadequacies?

  • 12. Are you worrying about something that happened in the past or may happen in the future?

  • 13. Do you have any known health problems that could be causing stress? Have you had a complete health check up to detect hidden health disorders? Is a family member's health or behavior creating stress and agitation in the workplace?

  • 14. Are you trying to reinvent the wheel in getting a job done? Can you get tips, procedures and suggestions from someone who has done such things already?

  • 15. If your life controlled by emails, pagers, mobile phones, blogs, iPODs, laptops and other electronic leashes?

  • 16. Do you have access to a quiet place like a park or lots of greenery to sit for an hour or two doing nothing? It can be very relaxing and discharge workplace worries.

  • 17. Are you working in a badly managed project? Is everything in your organization or department urgent and chaotic due to poor planning, an impatient boss, etc? Is your department understaffed and overworked?

  • 18. Are you taking care of your health and rest properly? Are you getting your eight hours of calm sleep daily?

  • 19. Are you trying to please or seek admiration from everyone? Are you an appreciation seeking addict? Is somebody's urgency or poor planning an emergency for you?

  • 20. Do you wear uncomfortable and tight clothes to work? Uncomfortable clothes, tight neckties and certain nylon materials can often cause a lot of fatigue and agitation without you realizing why.

  • 21. Are you bad at time management? Are there too many things on your plate? Can you ignore or eliminate the unnecessary ones?

  • 22. Are family problems creating hell at work? Are work problems creating hell at home?

  • 23. Do you have too much work? Do you have very less or no work? Very less work can also create anxiety about the continuity of your job.
And the questions can go on further or depending on the nature of your work the list of questions can change. But as you can see, precision questions like above can often pin point the exact cause of your stress. Next eliminating that stress will be in the precision answers you can provide, solutions you can gather or the specific actions you can take to reduce them. The solutions may not drop in overnight but you can definitely find solutions over time to switch to the right stress reduction lane gradually. And we can conclude this article by two beautiful quotes on questions by Anthony Robbins. Questions provide the key to unlocking our unlimited potential. Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers. Happy self interrogation.

NLP in Action - How To Create Super Motivation (Part Six)

By now I REALLY hope you are getting excited about the NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) techniques we have discussed in the first five articles of this series. This is truly powerful information that can help you create instant motivation to do any task or activity, no matter how badly you avoided it in the past.
To summarize, so we have learned how to transfer the positive, pleasurable emotions and feelings we have from one experience, and link it to another task or activity, which we have previously avoided or put off doing.
In most cases, this technique works very effectively and the links are created in less than half an hour. But occasionally, the target activity represents so much unpleasantness or pain in the mind of the individual, that massive amounts of pleasure must be associated with the pleasant experience in order to create the proper trigger.
So where do we find this massive pleasure? Sometimes, for whatever reason, a person I am working with, simply cannot call to mind an experience pleasurable enough to meet the need. When this happens, I usually use a method called "stacking."
Before I can explain stacking, let's recap how the NLP technique of creating triggers works:
  1. Create a visual image of yourself doing the target behavior that you normally avoid doing. Along with this visualization, create a trigger to associate with this action by doing something like pinching your right earlobe. Do this for a few minutes until you firmly associate pinching your right earlobe with this visual image of yourself studying.
  2. Now visualize yourself doing the thing you enjoy doing or an experience you have found intensely pleasurable. As you hold this image in your mind, create a second trigger by doing something like pinching your left earlobe. Do this for a few moments until pinching your left earlobe causes you to feel the pleasure you normally associate with this pleasurable activity or experience.
  3. Merge these two visual images together by pinching both earlobes at the same time. Allow the two images of your pleasurable activity and the activity you avoid to flash back and forth until they create a single impression. At this point, if the pleasurable image is sufficiently pleasurable, pinching both earlobes should create a pleasant feeling when you think about doing the task you formerly avoided.
So now we are back to our question of what to do if the pleasurable image is not sufficient to offset the unpleasant one? The answer is "stacking."
All that is needed is for you to pull more than one pleasurable experience from your memories and add them, one after the other, using the same trigger (we've been using the example of pinching your left earlobe, but it really can be any physical stimuli). Keep pinching your left earlobe (or whatever stimuli) with each pleasurable experience you visualize and they will soon stack up to create a stronger pleasure response than the negative associations you now have with the task you are avoiding.
Remember to use the same stimuli each time so that when you pinch your left earlobe, ALL of the pleasurable experiences flood your brain with associations at the same time. What will then happen is that you will be able to merge all of these experiences with the target activity you have been avoiding in the past, and you will be more than able to offset the negativity of that activity or task.
There is still much more to learn about establishing NLP motivational triggers. I hope you are now realizing how powerful these methods are and how they can help you to create instant motivation for yourself to do anything. Until you read the next article in this series, I hope you will give thought to what this technique alone can do to transform your life.
See you next time.
