Six Self Help Tips To Achieve Maximum Success In Life

The every day competition to win over others has developed a kind of self-centric attitude in every individual. But in this race, man has forgotten that he needs to win himself before conquering the world. The more mankind is heading towards modernization, the more it is being entangled with problems. In such circumstances, peace of mind is the only thing that one should aspire for from all his efforts. But, where can you get peace? Is there an easy way out to restore mental calmness, self satisfaction and success in life?
These questions have puzzled many people and prompted them to find their peace of mind in religious options, psychological treatment therapies or alcohols. But, as long as you are not satisfied with your inner self, it is almost impossible for you to get true success in life. And the best way to overcome all your worries and get going with your life is `Self Help`. This is the theory that has transformed inherent personalities of many people and helped them achieve success. The concept has also molded many disappointments into achievements. So, what self help is all about? How it can help you achieve success in your life? Well, the discussed tips are some of guidelines that can help you improve your self-esteem and achieve your objective of life.
1. Have faith in yourself:
Believing in the self is an inspiring and active force of life that can take you to places. Unless you trust yourself, no one else will trust you. Have faith that you have the ability to do something. This `self help` will help you find your ways to overcome many hurdles. When you believe that you have the potential to achieve your goals, you can unleash your strength and give shape to your dreams.
2. Recognize and nurture your strengths:
All of us have a special ability that can make us stand out among others. But, unless you realize that special quality, which is your forte, you can hardly give efforts to improve it. Therefore, instead of brooding over things that you lack in yourself, exercise your strength to make it stronger and more useful for you.
3. Judge yourself, but not based on others` opinion:
Often, people feel disheartened if someone gives negative remarks on them. Try your best to keep yourself away from this feeling. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Be proud of what good qualities you have and judge yourself based what you know about yourself. This is a crucial self help tip that can save you from depression.
4. Prioritize things you love to do:
Spend as much time as possible doing things that you really enjoy. Of course, here I mean doing constructive things that aids to your self-esteem and self development. Often, people excel doing their favorite activities. For instance, you can perform your best when you are in a job that you love to do. This self help will make you feel better and you will come closer to your success.
5. Select your friends group carefully:
People surrounding you make a lot of difference to your life. Often, they affect your lifestyle, thinking and activity. Hence, it is vitally important that you select right kind of people in your circle. They should contribute to your success and vice versa.
6. Positive thoughts attract positive result:
Your thought has a direct impact on your actions and the results you get. Think positive and speak positive thoughts to yourself. Focus your thoughts on things that your desire to achieve. You will find the energy of self help dragging success towards you.
Your achievements of life depend mostly on your efforts. Hence, boost your self-esteem and lead a successful life with the self help tips.

Do You Treat Others Better Than You Do Yourself?

As we start a new year, I have a couple of questions for you. What lessons did you learn during the past year that you are going to bring with you into 2013? What experiences did you have that helped you to find out something new about yourself? You do know that as long as you allow yourself to remember that you "experience" your life and make what you believe is the best possible choice in any given circumstance you are being the best you can be.
It is not unusual when clients work with me for them to chastise themselves when they do not do something up to their expectations. They will point out to me that they know better, or that they did not follow what they may have learned from previous sessions that we spent together. I'll explain to them, that is not a problem. Learning and applying new behaviors, even when aware of them, is not always easy to do. In fact, being aware and taking accountability that they had a choice in a situation and made one which was not in line with what they wanted to experience, is a sign of moving forward. They are acknowledging accountability for their actions.
I remember one of the quotes which had the most impact from my coach training that stays with me to this day goes as follows: "If we treated our friends like we treat ourselves, we'd all go to jail." Give these words some thought. Think about the last time you either did something or had something happen to you with which you were not pleased. How did you react to the situation? Were you more critical of what happened than those around you? Did you let the experience put you at a point where you felt it was useless to try to move forward, or that you would never be able to succeed at what you were trying to achieve?
Let 2013 be the year that you realize that the things that don't go according to plan in your life are not mistakes. Instead realize that each situation is a learning experience. If the decisions you make are coming from your mind, your heart, or both they are just choices based on your past, your values and the belief systems that have been part of your life up to that point of time. As one is constantly open to learning, their belief systems can evolve. Your values may change, or they may not, but if you are making your decisions from perspectives that work best for you, and you are not hurting others in the process, then you are doing at that point in time what you believe is best for all concerned.
While one can choose to change their views and approaches to their life at any time, a new year often sets us up with a mindset that makes us more receptive to such a change. Use some of that compassion that you may use toward others toward yourself in 2013. It will help you through the obstacles that will likely occur as you move forward toward achieving your goals in the coming year. It certainly is better than treating yourself "as if you were a criminal."

Life Is Wonderful

It is so simple and so easy to get what we want that we have a hard time to believe it. We are programmed to do things the hard and difficult way, in order to get what we want. We can not believe that we can get anything without hard labour, sweat and tears, obstacles
and misery.
This is nothing else but a tough old programmation, a conditioning from our childhood. If you are like me, you were bombarded as a child with expressions from adults about how hard life is and how we have to struggle to get something. We were submitted to a hazardous universe or a God of revenge who could pick us out without any reason to take revenge on us for something we did wrong. We needed to avoid being bad or wrong, but disease could strike us anyway. Sometimes they even said : "It's again a good one who's punished, and the bad one take off easily like usual without paying anything!". We learned that life wasn't fair. We lived in fear and thought life was a valley of tears, fear, struggle, pain, disease
and death?
How would it have been if they've told us the truth? The truth, nothing but the truth? That life is easy, wonderful. That miracles happen all the time and that we have the power to make them happen in our own life! That the universe loves us. That there is wealth and health for everyone. That we don't live in a universe of scarcity but of abundance. That we only have to put the right thoughts in our heads to make these dreams real for us.
What would your life have looked like if your parents and teachers would have taught you the truth?
You would have suffered much less! You would not have believed you were less than nothing. You would not have been filled with fear over your ears of getting sick or failing, of being stupid or being not good enough.
If you would have known from the beginning that you were a creation of the Creator, that you will always remain, that you will always be around, that you were created for a reason, and when you find this reason you will be happy, what would your life look like now? If you were told that you had talents, unique qualities, that make you a special person, and that you are on earth with the mission to offer these talents to others, where would you be right now and what would you be doing now?
Isn't it nice? The Genius who created this whole thing did really well : we are sent to earth with a mission and to be able to assume our mission we are already fully equipped from the beginning : we are gifted with natural talents and all we have to do is develop our talents and offer them to the world! Simply said, we have to do what we can do easily already and what we are talented for, and than happiness, satisfaction, love, money and everything we want comes flowing our way!
It is so beautiful, this concept! All we have to do is to do what we love! And of course we need to stop once for all to think we don't deserve happiness or wealth or health. All these thoughts are wrong because they go against the principles of creation of the Universe.
We are already wonderful! We are already loved! We are already rich! We are already free! We are already intelligent! We are already healthy!
Why? Because we were all this before we started our life. It is the way we really are. It is the way we were created, we were born. This is the truth about ourselves. Everything else is "learned" afterwards.
The good news is whatever is learned can be un-learned. Every programmation can be changed and replaced by a new program.
And again, life is wonderful, because a positive thought is 10,000 times more powerful than a negative thought. So you don't have to take another 40 years to undo the negative conditioning in your head. One positive thought can counterbalance 10,000 negative ones.
Can you imagine? Aren't we lucky?
If you choose to do so, you can rapidly turn around your negative program in your head. Go to the bookstore, buy some books with positive thoughts, put them at every toilet in the house, in the bathroom, in your bedroom, in your living room, and read them whenever you think of it or see them. It doesn't matter if you read one page after another or if you just open the book as it falls in your hands. The message you will receive will be the right one for you at that very moment.
Every morning you start your day by saying thank you to the Universe for your bed, your house, the roof over your head, the people living with your, the water coming out of your tap, the light switching on by a simple gesture of your hand, the food available, the choices you can make that day, the love you received in your life and the love you will receive, the miracles which will happen today and the air you can breath.
In your car, listen to CD's or cassettes with positive programmation. Listen to them while you make dinner, clean the house or iron your clothes.
Surround yourself with positive people and stop nourishing negative social talk. Don't watch television unless there is some really positive program.
There is a lot you can do to take a positive turn in your life. Don't think you can do nothing. You are responsible for your life now. Make your choice! Know that every thought you think is either one which will weaken you, or one which will make you feel stronger.
The choice is yours!

Pursue Your Dreams

Everyone has dreams about success. Some will pursue their dreams and some will think that their dreams are impossible to achieve. If your dreams are possible for others, then you can achieve them too! Your current position in life can be the launching pad to the destiny you've always dreamed about.
Bigger dreams take longer to achieve. But if you focus on small steps and take consistent action, you can achieve whatever your heart desires. The key to a life of success and fulfillment is to chase your dreams, beginning today. You must start your journey now, especially if your dream is a big one that may take a while to achieve.
It All Comes Down To Attitude
Much of the battle for your dreams is fought in the mind, which is why it's so important to believe in yourself and your abilities. Before you even start making progress towards your dreams, know that success is yours for the taking if you believe and take action.
There are many reasons that you may doubt yourself. You may convince yourself that you lack the intelligence, resources, or capability. But if you have a dream in your heart, then you can achieve it! It's just as easy to convince yourself that you can do it. Simply replace defeating self-talk with empowering affirmations that fire you up and get you moving.
To get ready to reach your goals, start by questioning and attacking your doubts. Are they really true? Are they logical? Most doubts are simply exaggerations based on fear. Replace them with empowering thoughts that boost your confidence. Instead of focusing on the big picture, focus on the small steps that will get you to your dream.
List all the skills and positive qualities you possess. If you can't think of any, ask your friends and family. Others often have a better perspective on your strengths than you do.
Think of the compliments you've received, write them down, and review them often to combat the fear and anxiety that falsely lead you to believe that you aren't good enough.
Next, list the things you want most in life. What are your financial and career goals? What would you like your relationships to be like? What are your core values? Explore yourself and find the dreams that you've buried beneath fear and inaction. Dust off those dreams and start to take action today.
Dealing With Fears
Once you've decided to go after your dreams, you'll likely deal with some form of fear. This is because risks can be scary. But the people that take risks tend to be happier in life in the long run. Choose to step out of your comfort zone to chase after the destiny you deserve.
When you feel fear, listen to what your mind is saying. Ask yourself why you're afraid and determine whether this fear is serving you, or holding you back. Some fear is healthy, but much of it is caused by irrational exaggerations of reality. People who achieve great things feel fear and choose to turn that fear into a motivator to push them forward. You can use affirmations to overcome fear.
The primary reason many fall short of their dreams is inaction. If you face your fears head on and take consistent action, you will achieve the success you deserve. But if you fail to take action, the fear will win. Instead, take one small action today that will begin to create in you an unstoppable momentum. Ride that momentum to the destiny you desire - and deserve!

Truth Breeds Success and Happiness From Within

Truth & Falsehood
In all the world there are two things --- the one is Truth and the other is Falsehood and Falsehood That Seems To Be!
Well, here is a hot topic for your mental discussion. Thanks for taking the time today to learn about truth and falsehood and how you create success and excellence using truth in your life.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of truth that is being bounced around the social mirror (society). It is inherent in the judicial system, the educational system, the health system, and any other system that can be beneficial to your growth and development.
Why is it that they cannot find a cure for cancer? Why is it that when a case goes to trial, the two sides are never the same? Why are they teaching myself and my children that Christopher Columbus discovered America but there were people already present? Why have someone created a device called a "Lie Detector?" Why are the television airwaves running rampant with court tv shows, cheaters, Maury, and Jerry Springer where people literally makes fools of themselves?
It is all because people do not tell the truth. People lie and hide behind them to really hide from their true selves. The statement "The Truth Shall Set You Free" is powerful and it really does free your mind from the stress of constantly trying to cover up a lie.
Remember this basic principle: "It takes a small book to tell the truth. It takes a large book to cover up the truth." The truth is a simple thing. It is not complicated and can literally lift the weight of the world off your shoulders.
Speak your truth all the time because it will always bring you back home to yourself. Also, remember this, it takes less energy to tell the truth than it does to fabricate a lie.
You also have to watch out for the "Falsehood That Seems To Be True.
  • Just like they tell you to lower you cholesterol to some ungodly number, but do you know that you brain needs cholesterol to function.
  • Christopher Columbus discovered America, but when he landed, Indians were present. Don't they count.
  • They can't find a cure for cancer, but go into another country where doctors are paid unless you are well and see the difference.
Watch out for the "seems to be. If they (and you know who they are) tell you to go left you had better done your research to know what is on the right.
So, in closing, speak your truth for you owe it to yourself and the people in your life to be, live, and talk who you truly are. A wonderful, growing, prosperous human being.
Thanks for spending time with me today and I wish you well on your journey of excellence.  Peace.
